Miller was born in St. Charles, Missouri, on August 21, 1966, to Joe and Linda Miller. He has two older brothers, Craig and Brett. His parents are divorced and have since remarried. Rod is a graduate of Missouri Western State College (now University), St. Charles County Law Enforcement Training Center (Police Academy), and for the last eleven years has been a chauffeur in New Jersey, owning his own business since 2006.
