He has on hand a new edition of our hymns, about seventy-three now, and a new series of Swahili tales. The Epistle to the Romans has been translated, and is now being finally revised. It will be sufficiently gathered from the letters given below: --August 13, 1878. 1 We have just sent off another party of freed men to Masasi, including my young Yao chief, who came down with Mr. Williams. He says he will bring his wife and child down, and stay a year at Kiungani, to go on with his learning there. Two of our elder lads have gone on board an English ship as interpreters, and another has joined one of the C. M. S. parties going up to Unyamwezi. We have. . . This item ships from La Vergne,TN.<
