APH Publishing Corporation, 2003. First edition. Hardcover. New. After that first partition, there has been again partition of Kashmir. At one time, our late Prime Minister Pandit Nehru had even expressed his willingness to offer the Pakistan-occupied part of Kashmir to Pakistan in a bid to `solve` the so-called Kashmir problem. Even the Shimla Agreement, signed between Indira Gandhi Prime Minister of India and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, on July 2, 1972 stipulated that present LoC is the line of permanent peace. The Usa and European Communities also backed it. But after Z.A. Bhutto, successive rulers have created tension in the subcontinent by sponsoring terrorism. They are thus violating the Shimla pact and defying the LoC. The Lahore Declaration 1999 had some interesting ideas in this respect (e.g. the institution of a Nuclear risk Reduction mechanism, basically from the Indian side, and these should be implemented via formal agreements and operational systems. Acceptance of LoC as international border in Jammu and Kashmir, as the permanent dividing line between India and Pakistan it would be suicidal. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is the part of Jammu and Kashmir, a state of India. It is India`s Integral Unit and forcibly occupied by Pakistan in 1947 after independence. Kashmir problem is the lethal combination of Islamic fundamentalism and Pakistan`s Political adventurism. Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition, and outcome of two-nation theory. More than half a century has passed when Kashmir problem cropped up. Four Wars have also been fought but the Pakistan occupied portion of Kashmir has not been retrieved by India. LoC is nothing more than the cease-fire line agreed to by Prime Minister Nehru in 1949, when he committed the monumental blunder of stopping the Indian Army when it was on its way to evicting the Pakistanis from what is now Pakistan occupied Kashmir. From cradle to grave man has to Face problem in life. Someone his own Creation and some are attributed to the creator. Kashmir problem is the creation of man the leaders-an outcome of their pride, prejudices, Ego and false notions. Many international powers believe that making the LoC an international boundary, with minor changes, would be the best solution the Kashmir problem. LoC is not the cease-fire line agreed between two sovereign nations, but the line of containment of terrorism, which Pakistani Terrorists are constantly trying to breach. LoC should no longer be seen as a historic cease-fire line that the terrorists feel free to violate, but a strategically defensible barrier. The terms of independence were such that perhaps, without accepting partition, some believe that Independence would not have come. Division is over, but its scars are still hurting the body politic of both countries. Realistically enough, neither India nor Pakistan can destroy the other. The utmost they can do is to inflict serious injuries on each other in the State of War. Geography, defence, economic development and the welfare of the people Demand that they should come together and live like brothers as before, as one country. Kashmir problem is the outcome of Partition of the country, which took place on August 14-15-1947 and solution to the problems lies in annulment of the partition. The Kashmir and other basic problems confronting Indian Peninsula namely, population, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment etc. can be successfully tackled unitedly, by unification of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Beano Annual is the current name of the book that has been published every year since 1939,to tie in with the children's British comic 'The Beano'.As of 2021 there have been 83 editions. These annuals were traditionally published in July or August,in time for Christmas market, and since 1965 (dated 1966) they have had the date of the following year on the cover, before then,no date was given. From 1943 to 1950 the annual was called 'The Magic-Beano Book, which referred to the merging of the short-lived sister comic 'Magic Comic' that then ceased publication in 1941 due to WW2 and Britain's introduction of strict paper-rationing.Though with war's end and the later end of paper-rationing too,the comic was never revived. However, some of the characters who had originally appeared in the pre-war 'Magic Comic' managed to remain as regular strips in the post-1950 'Beano' comic (such as Koko the Pup). The name reverted to the original title of 'The Beano Book' in 1950 and continued, the year changing for each subsequent annual, until the release of the 2003 book (in 2002) when it was renamed 'The Beano Annual'.The 2011 Beano Annual is taller and wider than previous annuals. Because of his popularity,Dennis the Menace has appeared on the front cover of every annual since the release of the 1979 annual in 1978.The latest version came out 2020 and was dated 2021.From 2009 (out in 2008)until 2020 (released 2019),the book consistently retailed at £7.99. Thomson & Co., Ltd.,based in Dundee,to tie-in with the children's weekly comic 'The DANDY'. The first issue was printed in December 1937, making it the world's third-longest running comic, after Il Giornalino (cover dated 1 October 1924) and Detective Comics (cover dated March 1937).From August 2007 until October 2010,it was rebranded as 'Dandy Xtreme',relaunching as an online comic 'The Digital Dandy',appearing on the Dandy website and in the Dandy App on the same day as the final printed issue of the comic. That digital relaunch was not successful and the comic ended just six months later. As one of the best-selling comics in the UK,along with 'The BEANO', 'The DANDY' had sales of 2 million issues a week in the 1950s.Its final printed edition was issued on 4th December 2012, the comic's own 75th anniversary, after sales slumped to just 8,000 a week.As of 2021 there have been 83 editions.'The Dandy Annual' continued to be published, even though the weekly Dandy comic has now ended. The annuals are traditionally published in July or August,in time for the Christmas market and since 1965,they have had the date of the following year on the cover - prior to that no date was given. From 1938 to 1951 the annual was called 'The Dandy Monster Comic.' A name change in 1952 made to 'The DANDY BOOK' and continued with the year changing for each subsequent annual, until the release of the 2003 book in 2002,when it was renamed 'The DANDY ANNUAL'. Even with the comic's relaunch as 'Dandy Xtreme' in 2007,it is still known as 'The DANDY ANNUAL'. Mirroring the comics at the time, the front cover usually featured Korky the Cat.After Desperate Dan took over the front page in 1984,the annual cover reflected this by featuring both Korky and Dan until the release of the 1991 book in 1990 which was the first ever Dandy Annual to not feature Korky on the front cover in any way.He has made several appearances since then, despite the main focus shifting to Dan. Visually the exterior appearance is acceptable for a book of it's age and nature,i.e a child's book, whilst internally, the book is in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation. It is only the exterior few minor faults that prevents a slightly higher grading. This annual celebrates the BEANO and DANDY comic's 50th anniversary. This annual is significant as in the comic,an increase in the number of colour pages in the comic, led to Minnie appearing in full colour for the first time.In the strip itself,Minnie dressed up as Pansy Potter in compliance with the editor's wishes.Throughout the strip she attempts impossible feats in hope to appear just like Pansy. This even consists of attempting to sink war submarines, something the old character used to do during The Beano's war times.Despite the fact she is weaker than Pansy,Minnie does manage to withhold four sailors before they finally manage to catch her and tie her up leaving her before her father. However, previously she had filled her father's jumper with balloons and using Pansy's unique hairstyle, manages to burst the balloons causing her father to flee home in the nude, the thought of punishing his daughter forgotten.[In the comic and not the annual.] The Beano Annual is the current name of the book that has been published every year since 1939,to tie in with the children's British comic 'The Beano'.As of 2021 there have been 83 editions. Because of his popularity,Dennis the Menace has appeared on the front cover of every annual since the release of the 1979 annual in 1978. The latest version came out 2020 and was dated 2021.From 2009 (out in 2008)until 2020 (released 2019),the book consistently retailed at £7.99. These annuals were traditionally published in July or August,in time for Christmas market, and since 1965 (dated 1966) they have had the date of the following year on the cover, before then,no date was given. In Strindberg's classic, Miss Julie, the daughter of a powerful count, enters into a dangerously flirtatious relationship with a footman on her father's estate. The critics have described Richard Nelson's adaptation as ""tight, sharp, idiomatic."" ""He Strindberg] is bold, this Swede. Never have I seen the aristocratism of serfs so lucidly portrayed.
