San Francisco is shocked when the body of Dominic Como, a member of a half-dozen boards of directors for non-profit and charitable organizations, is found half-submerged in a lagoon and his young business associate Alicia Thrope is considered to be a person of interest in his murder. Private investigator Wyatt Hunt and his young protA(c)gA(c) Mickey Dade start poking around the case, partly to appease Mickeya (TM)s crush on Alicia and partly to keep Wyatta (TM)s business, The Hunt Club, among the elite of San Franciscoa (TM)s high-end P.I. shops. What they find is anything but expected as San Franciscoa (TM)s golden fundraiser turns out to have been drawing enormous salaries from each of the charities he worked for, and young Alicia seems to know more about where he got his money than she is letting on. Treasure Hunt unfolds against a backdrop of murky city politics and shady groups masquerading as charities.
